Canine Bodywork + Massage

Canine bodywork is hands-on, intentional work that supports how your dog moves, recovers, and feels in their body.

Whether your dog is an athlete, a senior, anxious, or quietly carrying tension, bodywork helps restore balance, comfort, and ease. It supports the nervous system, encourages healthy movement, and allows the body to release what it no longer needs to hold.

Bodywork meets your dog where they are — physically, emotionally, and energetically.

What to Expect During a Session

Every dog is different, and every session is guided by what your dog shows me that day.

Sessions move at your dog’s pace and may include:

  • A thorough health intake and discussion of your goals or concerns

  • Gait and posture observation

  • Hands-on assessment of muscles, joints, and movement patterns

  • Gentle, targeted massage techniques tailored to your dog

  • Time for rest, regulation, and integration

  • A post-session conversation with observations and simple home support suggestions if appropriate

Some dogs melt into the work immediately. Others take time to warm up. Both are completely normal.

New Client Assessment + Massage

This first appointment is designed to get to know your dog as a whole.

Dogs are experts at compensating and often hide discomfort until it becomes hard to ignore. This session allows me to observe movement, identify areas of tension, and begin hands-on bodywork in a way that feels safe and supportive.

Includes:

  • Full health intake and discussion

  • Gait and movement assessment

  • Soft tissue palpation

  • A customized massage session based on your dog’s needs

This session sets the foundation for future work and helps determine what ongoing support may be beneficial.
